Learning Journey Australia is committed to approaching First Nations perspectives with care, humility, and respect. We acknowledge the deep and continuing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with Country, culture, community, and story.
Where cultural knowledge, language, stories, or place-based information are included within our resources, we aim to do so thoughtfully and respectfully, recognising the Traditional Custodians connected to those lands and waters.
Our learning experiences are designed to encourage children and educators to approach First Nations perspectives with openness, gratitude, empathy, and a genuine desire to learn. We recognise that First Nations cultures are living, diverse, and deeply connected to identity, belonging, and community.
